A quick trip home for the 2021 holidays turned into an unexpected passion project after my parents and I started talking about redoing my closet. Over three weeks—nights after work and moments on weekends—I taught myself woodworking and built the custom closet of my dreams. Four years later, it’s still one of the proudest things I’ve ever made.
